# Can I see pack totals before publishing?
Yes. Pack totals are shown as selections are made. The Parent Portal Pack Summary page also allows users to review pack totals.
Reviewing pack totals before publishing is important because it helps your school check the estimated cost that parents may see. Always check pack totals again after adding optional items, mandatory items, levies, or product changes.
